Rabbi Shmuel Brody

My wife and I came to Seattle eight years ago to teach Torah. Judaism for me is a path. A path to discovering a dynamic, living, and intimate relationship with Hashem and people. This path, like the paths of Seward Park, is stunning. It takes curiosity and courage though to step out of the ordinary chores of life and into this extraordinary relationship. The particular path I chose is the one of the Baal Shem Tov. For me it is both ancestral and personal. It is a path of the soul, where joyous mitzvot and heartfelt prayer stream into the beauty of life.
