Job: Jewish Interfaith Minister

Age: 72

Neighborhood: Lynnwood

I hold close the words of the prophet Micah: Act with justice, love compassion, and walk humbly with my God. Over time, my faith evolved to an abiding belief that there are many righteous paths to the top of our sacred mountain. While my path is Judaism, I respect those who walk other paths. I’ve written three books about Interfaith as a faith. Most recently, One Family: Indivisible lays out my spiritual journey — what it has meant to me to remain Jewish while embracing my brothers and sisters who embody loving justice while walking humbly with their God along differing paths. I embrace the stranger, as I was a stranger in a strange land.
