With the news cycle moving at a head-whipping pace, it’s hard to make time for reflection. But some great stuff happened this past year, kicking off with Greater Seattle’s first — and super successful — Limmud conference. That was followed by a booming spring arts season that brought us some quality local theater as well as big-shot guests, like novelist Gary Shteyngart and domestic goddess Nigella Lawson. As spring warmed up, the Federation, IAC, and Stroum JCC hosted #NWIsraelFest in honor of the Jewish state’s 70th birthday, and as summer turned to fall we were lucky to see star chefs Yotam Ottolenghi and Michael Solomonov return to Seattle. We don’t have room to mention all the terrific organizational events too — the galas and fundraisers and honors — but we want you to know that we think you are ALL AWESOME. Thanks for all you do, Seattle Jews.
